Latest Bipha trip to Rotherham found the 12s team needing all 4 wins to qualify for the BIPHA Nationals. The nailbiter was the final game of the day between St.Aspah and Tigers. A tight game saw this one could go either way and with both teams wanting and needing the win, the Tigers support got right behind the players as did the Killimarsh parents. Tigers went ahead in the second period and soon took the game to 5-3. Rough play from St.Asaph saw injuries over and over again against the Tigers, however they skated on to go ahead 6-3 with only 1:18 left on the clock and a stoppage of play as it was clear the opposing team were not happy and tried to pull the Tigers into a brawl'. Well done to our players who kept the cool and played the game to win till the finish keeping total control of the puck for the last minute of the game, a well deserved qualifying win.
