TORBAIN TIGERS v GLENROTHES GRIZZLIES 14s
Without a doubt, game of the day; Grizzlies taking this one to the Tigers, up and down hockey and chances for both teams to put away goals not for the heroics of both netminders who played blinders' it was the Grizzlies who found the net first at 6:11 through Mark and Ryan, followed less than a minute behind by goal number 2 alike. A double assisted goal from Neil, McEwan and Bethany saw Tigers on the score sheet.. An unnassisted shot from Grizzlies own end saw Lewis put away their third goal at 17:02. Tigers seemed to rocket the last 5 minutes of the game and so the pace was raised somewhat. Some superb passing taking the puck from side to side and end to end saw Beth receive a quick pass from McEwan to put a super shot past the Grizzlies Netminder. 11 seconds left in the game and it was Tigers who put the nail in the coffin when McEwan finished an Ivana pass to hit the net and so end the final score 6 - 4 in favour of the home team Tigers.
